Emilie Southward

Certified Birth Doula and Childbirth Educator

After a less than ideal journey into motherhood, Emilie’s first birth was everything she needed it to be: empowering, beautiful, and redemptive. It was just a few hours after birth that she knew she had to focus her life on helping other families bring their babies into the world in a positive way. Emilie became a certified birth educator later that year (in 2014) and is a certified birth doula, CD(DONA). She has additional training in pre and postpartum nutrition, Spinning Babies, and breastfeeding. Emilie has two miracle babies and some of her favorite things include Jesus, her family, iced coffee, gluten-free muffins, and sunshine.

  • What is included in this course?

    The course has over 4 hours of video lessons, broken up into 15 chapters. It also includes a 30+ page workbook with additional material, resources, and discussion prompts for you and your partner.

  • I know that I want an epidural, will this course still be useful?

    Most definitely! This course covers all the important aspects of birth, no matter what choices you want to make. Epidurals can be a great tool. However, you will experience contractions before you get one, so learning how to work through them is valuable. We also cover positions to use with an epidural, and when it's best to get one because sometimes your plans do change.

  • How long will I have access to the course?

    You will have access to the course for 9 months (270 days) from the original purchase date.

  • Are refunds available?

    Due to the digital nature of this course, refunds are not available. All sales are final.
